Like Father, Like Daughter

Two weekends ago we went to Buena Vista. Dusty's parents have a fabulous "creek" that runs next to their home. They have done a lot of work cleaning it out and putting in rapids for toys to float down (with help from Dusty) and a small pool area to play in. Dusty, Grandma, and Grandpa can hardly wait to get Natalie in the creek, although I informed Dusty that she had years ahead of her to enjoy it! We did get some play time in the water one day and Natalie loved it (so did Dusty!)

Stirring rocks in a bowl of water--cheap fun!

Excuse me, sir?

Hey, I like your hat, too!

We also played at the park, fed ducks, and Natalie went on her first official hike.

Do you see me and MJB? That's us at 28 weeks!

We are so thankful for Grandma and Grandpa and for such a fun, relaxing place to visit.

Yea, creek girl! Is Dusty's Beef guy kayaker in any of those rapids?

Beef was home in Fort Collins unfortunately. He's getting close to retirement age but still goes out for a rapid or two when he can. : )
