While pretend painting Dusty's nails:
N: I need to get my nails painted for real.
D: You'll have to have Mama do that because I don't have as much experience.
N: You don't know very much, Papa. You're pretty strong but you're not very smart. You don't know how to braid hair, you don't know how to paint nails...
In the midst of being frustrated with Maggie harassing Sabrina for the umpteenth time, Dusty yelled "No!" and stood up quickly. Then he heard a small voice behind him from Natalie saying, "Patience, patience". Dusty slowed down and replied, "Thank you for reminding me, Natalie." N: "That's what you say to Mama when she yells."
Starting a quarrel is like breaching a dam; so drop the matter before a dispute breaks out. Proverbs 17:14
The girls were fighting downstairs and Dusty went down and shared this verse with them and explained what a dam was and what breaching meant. Two times throughout the day, Natalie informed Dusty that "Maggie was breaching a dam" when she was causing trouble.

This is hilarious! It sounds like Natalie may be a future civil engineer!
