We had a fun family day celebrating our little Bean Cake. The morning started off with the usual donuts and eggs. Then we opened presents and played at home. Sabrina requested a pink cake so we all helped make the beloved strawberry cake for her. She really wanted to have her sweet friend, Meg, over for her birthday so we invited the Baileys to have cake with us. Then we went to the park to play for a bit. Dusty made homemade pizza for dinner with root beer to drink. The girls ended the night with popcorn and a movie in their room and a slumber party together.
She loves singing, dancing, playing "Colleen" or "Jamie", and riding her scoot bike. She makes us laugh daily and exasperates us with her uncanny ability to have to go to the bathroom right when we sit down for a meal. She is turning into a little lady and yet definitely plays the "baby of the family" card. She still likes to be rocked at bedtime, carried as much as possible, and thinks she deserves to be given whatever toy she wants from her sisters right away. Natalie and Maggie still call her Baby way more than they ever use her actual name. They still are smitten with her, although they are finding out that she is not as cute when she is stubborn and demanding. : ) What a character, and we are so very happy that she is ours!
