Cowgirls

We went to Grandma and Grandpa's house in July.  They have a friend who works at Deer Valley Guest Ranch, and arranged for the girls to be able to ride horses for the first time.

Getting geared up.
Natalie was so excited.  George's dad trained race horses and so he grew up around them.  He walked with Natalie back and forth in short loop.  She didn't want it to end.

She could not stop grinning the entire time.

We got a picture of Maggie looking like a cowgirl.  She actually was a little scared and didn't want to ride the horse after we put her on it.

But Dusty got some great pictures of her hanging out on the rails like a cowgirl.

Saying goodbye to Ginger.

Happy trails to you.

Thank you, George and Julie, for setting this up for us.  We enjoyed it so much!
