Natty in Action

Here is a short video of Natalie crawling and doing a little bit of the army crawl as well.




She still prefers to stand up whenever she gets the chance though. The other day I let go of her hands and she stood all by herself for about 5 seconds!

The new parental challenge we are facing is that sometimes when we put Natalie down for her nap she decides she doesn't want to sleep and stands up in her crib instead. She loves to look across the room and see herself in the mirror and jump up and down. No big deal...yet. Once she gets tired of standing up, she won't let herself back down, roll over, and go to sleep. She cries and cries and so we go in to help her. But when she sees us again, she remembers that she likes to be with us and still puts up a fight about taking her nap.

On a positive note, it sure is fun to go into her room after naps and find her standing up waiting for us with a big smile on her face.
