Maggie at 6 months

Princess Maggie turned 6 months old on Monday, the 8th.

16 1/2 lbs!
26 in. long

She started sitting up at 5 months old and is quite sturdy now. She likes to reach, reach, reach for toys and sometimes falls forward onto her tummy. She's a tough little cookie--she almost never cries if she topples over or gets knocked down by her big sister.
Her hair continues to be long on top as you can see but it is growing in all around now. Each of my babes sport a mean comb-over during this stage of life but I know that braids and pony tails will be right around the corner for Maggie, maybe even sooner than Natalie had.

Maggie is very strong and can hold herself up on her hands and knees when we help her get into position.

We took her swimming for the first time this week. She loves the water, especially taking baths with her big sister!

Her favorite appendages continue to be her thumb and her toes.

And lastly, Maggie is now a toothless herbivore. We gave her homemade yams, mmm! She loved every bit of it! A dream come true for her!

We started with a bib, but then decided to strip her instead (above photos).
All was followed by a wash down in the sink.

You are the sweetest, smiley-est, chatty-est little girl. Love watching you becoming who you are!
